Chili Paste (Harissa) - هريسه شطه

Harissa is a flavorful, spicy North African condiment made from roasted red peppers, garlic, olive oil, and spices like cumin, coriander, caraway, and paprika. Its smoky and spicy profile enhances stews, tagines, grilled meats, and vegetables. It can also be used as a marinade, topping for couscous, or mixed into yogurt or hummus for an extra kick. The heat level varies, but it adds a bold, aromatic spice to savory and vegetarian dishes. 

الحريرة هي توابل حارة ولذيذة من شمال إفريقيا مصنوعة من مزيج من الفلفل الأحمر المشوي، والثوم، وزيت الزيتون، ومجموعة من التوابل مثل الكمون، والكزبرة، وحبة البركة، والفلفل الحلو. نكهتها المدخنة والحارة تعزز الطواجن، والكسكس، واللحوم المشوية، والخضار. يمكن استخدامها كصلصة للماريناد، topping للكسكس، أو مزجها مع الزبادي أو الحمص لإضافة نكهة حارة إضافية. مستوى الحرارة يختلف حسب نوع الفلفل المستخدم، لكنها تضيف توابل حارة وعطرية للأطباق المالحة والنباتية.
